Production
Material driven design: Bioleather made from hemp sludge seed oil production.
Firstly the hemp sludge is pressed once again to remove excess oil. It is then boiled with other ingredients and poured into frames. Finally it is put in a drying cabinet.

Benchmarking
Different components and manufacturing processes led to different results. The final version was tested with water, pressure, weight and fire, as well as being sewn and hole punched.

Engravement
Patterns with the hemp plant and crocodile skin were made with a laser cutter.

Final product
The Hemple seat is filled with brushed hemp fiber and sewn together. The frame is made of apple tree, treated with leftover hemp oil from our production.
